Wow, Mrs. Shrute, I'll have to disagree, I thought this episode wasn't just a little better than the last one, it was ten times better! It was hilarious, and witty and really great and it was much more like itself than that fluke episode last week that made no sense.
Here were my favorite parts (not necessarily in order from least to greatest)
1. Dwight hiding strategically placed weapons throughout the office! The butcher's knife in the filing cabinet, the samauri sword in the ceiling....its hilarious!
2.Michael going out into the wilderness like "Survivorman". There were many funny parts to that whole plot line, like when he ripped apart his pants, yelled out his deepest-darkest secrets because he thought no one was there (while Dwight and the cameras were really hanging out watching him), the pants tent, the pant leg hat, the telling of the time by the sun in the 2 3/4 position... and best of all:
Dwight: (Is looking through the scope of a sniper rifle when he notices the camera is on him) "Don't worry, I'm just using the scope and the safety is...(checks safety to find it's off and turns it on)...on."
3.Everyone wanting a different cake for their combined b-day party. Especially Creed with his special pie from Angela.
4.Toby's description of the office birthdays. "Michael always sings the falsedo line of Happy Birthday" and "Michael really likes birthday suprises, almost to the point where its cruel..."
5.Jim turning into Michael. At first I thought it was stupid, but it was actually pretty funny (like when Jim used Michaels office and they almost went into the conference room). I really liked the end with Michael and Jim talking. It was really sweet and you begin to wonder if Jim is really starting to accept the fact that he may still be at the Dunder-Mifflin Scranton Branch ten years from now. The "that's what she saids" were great, especially Jim's.
All in all it was an amazing episode and is really up there with some of my favorites....The Injury....The Fire....Conflict Resolution...well, no...I lied - nothing can beat Conflict Resolution!

KKras: Big News!!/License to Wed
Howdy y'all. (That was for you, Mrs. Schrute)
Two things:
Two things:
- Over this past weekend, I rented "License to Wed" from Netflix. To be perfectly honest, the movie was not very good. If you've seen the "veritable movie suckfest" (Mrs. Schrute!!) titled "Because I Said So," you can compare it to that. It wasn't very good. It was very poorly written and at some points, a little unbelieveable (i.e. driving through the streets of Chicago blindfolded). However, it was totally and 100% amazing at the same time. This was obviously because of the wonderful and talented John Krasinski. He made the movie. Also, many of his Office cronies joined him in this movie, including Mindy Kaling (Kelly), Angela Kinsey (Angela), and Brian Baumgartner (Kevin). The four of them brought this movie from about a two to a ten (out of ten.) JKras, you can do no wrong in my eyes. Is it just me, or do these Office actors seem to travel in packs when they appear in movies? For example:
- "The 40 Year Old Virgin" ~ Steve Carell, Mindy Kaling, Jenna Fischer (uncredited), Phyllis Smith (uncredited)
- "Knocked Up" ~ Craig Robinson, B.J. Novak, Steve Carell
- "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" (a parody of "Walk the Line") ~ Jenna Fischer, Ed Helms
- "Evan Almighty"- Steve Carell, Ed Helms, Craig Robinson - Rashida Jones returns in a new form. She's now in the Foo Fighters' new music video for their song, "Long Road to Ruin." Ugh.
I'm so sad. The writers' strike is in full swing and because of this, SNL with host Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson and musical guest Amy Winehouse is not going to be live this week. Man, that girl can't catch a break. Oh well. I guess I'll have to wait until next Saturday.
Adios, mis amigos.

Mrs. Shrute on iheartbigtuna's debate
Well, I'm really not sure of the signifigance of all of them being cats, the only one who really makes sense is Angela. Maybe Pam and Phyllis just felt like it. I don't remember the episode entirely.

iheartbigtuna begins a debate
Q: What is the significance that all of the girls in the office (except Meredith who isn't even pictured) are cats in the Season 2 Halloween episode???
First, I have to reply with another question...was there another Halloween episode in season 3?
If so, who was everyone?
Secondly, I think that it is ironicly funny because they are all so different but they all make really good cats! Think about it! Angela is a cat lover and can be kinda "catlike" in her attitude (hissssss). Pam looked really cute as a cat and she is sort of a "kittenlike" character. And Phyllis makes a really good old, gentle cat. I think they didn't include Meredith in the "cat costume club" because she's either too boring or too hung-over to be "catlike", or "kittenlike" in any way.
Any thoughts???

Mrs. Shrute on Branch Wars
Hola All Officec Buffs!!
So, Branch Wars. I must say I was disappointed with this episode. It really stunk. It just wasn't funny. The only part I will say was slightly hilarous was Dwight in the back of the car, and the bomb ingredients in the trunk of the car.
This episode just proves why I, and all of us here at Tripple B and a G, hate Karen. I mean the way she treated Jim! I would want to burn Utica to the ground! She really just need to go away. But I do suppose every show needs somone evil, and she is trully that person.
I felt very bad for Andy in this episode. The Finer Things Club should have let him in. Andy is probally he preppiest guy on TV, and you can't get any finer than that.
Thank the heavens that Stanley stayed. Michael is absoutley right in saying that you cannot take away the funny black guy from the office. I cannot imagine The Office without Stanley at all. I mean what would Pretzel Day be without Stanley?
I honestly hope the episode this week is better. That was just...not good.
OOH! But now that I remembered it, the mustaches were amazing!! Espically Dwight's all curled and what not!!

KKras on: Branch Wars
Dundaheads!!!
How are y'all? I have to say that I was not impressed with this week's episode. There were a few good points, but it was definitely the worst this season.
Here's what I liked:

Here's what I liked:
- Good call, iheartbigtuna, my favorite line so far has got to be:
Jim: "Have you had this in the back of the car the whole time we've been driving?"
Michael: "Yup." - The mustaches.
- "The Finer Things Club." That was cool. I love how they dress up everytime.
- Phyllis popping popcorn in the vending machine room because the microwave in the kitchen smelled like popcorn!
That's it. I really didn't like anything else all that much. I hope next week is better.
Oh, by the way, iheartbigtuna, Phyllis was also a cat and Stanley wasn't anything. All the girls were cats. Except Meredith. I don't think that she was even mentioned at all in that episode.

iheartbigtuna is relieved that Stanley stayed
Yay! Stanley stayed! But it wasn't that great an episode! C'mon writers, we need a good one next time - oh, right, sry, forgot ur all on strike!!
Anyway, as I was saying, it wasn't that great of an episode. I know you'll all probably kill me but I'm not hating Karen yet, I kinda feel bad for her, but mostly for Jim, that they had to meet again so soon after their breakup.
But sadly, I can't remember any truly funny parts, everything was just too dramatic and stupid. The only thing that was slightly funny was the, oh, darn it what was the name of that elite club??? Wow, this is sad, I really can't remember the name, I just watched it like an hour ago.... oh, well Toby, Oscar, and Pam are awesome and so is their club!
Michael, Dwight and Jim driving to Karen's branch to silly -string/burn the place was just so far-fetched and stupid and when Dwight threw Jim's cell out of the car I wanted to scream. Where were they going with that whole "feel bad for Dwight thing" if they were just gonna make him seem insane in the next episode??? The fact that he wanted to blow chalk in people's eyes was also slightly comical, but mostly odd.
I just thought this episode was soooooooo irrelevant to everything??? I mean, all of a sudden Stanley is leaving, Michael and Dwight are becoming criminals, and Andy wants to get into an elite book club. They didn't even mention or show Angela once!! Or Creed!!!
....I can't talk about this episode anymore, it frustrates me. Instead, I'd like you all to help me remember who everyone was for Halloween in the season 2 Halloween episode:
Michael - 2 headed guy
Dwight - the Sith Lord
Jim - 3-hole punch
Pam- cat
Angela - cat (is it significant that both she and Pam have the same costume???)
Kevin - Mr. Incredible
Toby - hobo
Creed - vampire/Dracula
Oscar - a woman
Phillis - ???
Stanley - ??? (did he even dress up at all)
