did iheartbigtuna hallucinate????

OMG! That Rainn Wilson "sexiest man alive" thing was amazing!!!!!! lol lol lol
I also decided to watch the one about Hiro (the character from Heroes)...that was a little disturbing b/c Hiro is so innocent and I get the idea that the actor...well, isn't....

Anyway, I watched the, 100 Sexy Guys in 1 minute and I think that John Krasinski was in it. It was towards the end and he was on the street, in the dark, wearing a black coat...I hope I'm right b/c I tried to pause it on him but the stupid thing went to fast!

Anway squared, I'll be sure to think of a possible episode idea this weekend! Ta Ta For Now!

Mrs. Shrute Being Random and Happy

I think predicting future episodes is a great idea iheartbigtuna. Also, if anyone wants to start any debates/contests ("That's What She Said Contest!" Anyone?), we could also do that until new episdoes start up again.
So today I recived the most AMAZING news of my life!!!!!!!!! I was reading the sexiest men issue of People magazine, and my man Rainn Wilson was in the Geek Section. So, I was reading about him (he's married...grrr), and it said that he was in the marching band when he was in high school!!!!!!!!!!! JUST LIKE ME!!!!!!!! WE WERE MENT TO BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Before I go, I must correct you ihearbigtuna, there will be an episode on Thanksgiving (not new of course), so your family will be able to gather, give thanks, and laugh your heads off.
Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!!

iheartbigtuna is depressed....

...stupid advertising person who speaks Portuguese....*grumble grumble*.....stupid writers' strike preventing the Office from continuing.....*grrrrrrrr*.....

Wow, not gonna lie, that sounded totally Emo......not my intention.....

Anyway, I've been looking forward to forcing my entire family to watch the Office on Thanksgiving this Thursday but the stupid writers' ruined that dream (sry, Emo side coming out again...jk)

Sooooo, I wuz thinking to pass the time, why don't we make predictions for future episodes????
I'm smiling just thinking about it! (totally not Emo - yay!)

:) :) :) :)

I can't think of one yet, but I'll definately have one during this upcoming 4 day weekend - so, just thought I'd mention it so that we could all start putting on our Office thinking caps (or turbans - like the one Michael keeps in his desk)

On a Random Note:

I was just looking at the sample labels for posts: scooters, vacation, and fall
and was kinda confused as to what post one could write with these labels...so I took on the challenge and have come up with this hypothetical post:

I'm so excited! Tomorrow Christmas vacation starts! Santa's bringing me a new Razor scooter! Usually I only ride scooters in the fall, when it's not so cold, but I've found that the extreme amount of leaves tend to get in the way of the wheels! I can't wait to try riding my new scooter on the frozen pond down the road! I know that ice makes you slip and fall, but I'm hoping the wheels of my new scooter will give me more traction! Can't wait to try it out! I'll write more after the vacation! C ya!

Wow, that was totally random.....
Good job world. You ruined everything. Actually it's just one person. As of now, only members of this blog can comment on this blog. Whoever you are you freaken scared the crap out of iheartbigtuna, now you've lost all privlages to comment.
Anywho, THE DEPOSITION!!! Poor Michael. I would die if anyone read my diary....if I had one. I'm sorry KKras, I must disagree with you. I applauded Michael for knocking over Toby's lunch. As much as Micheal was horribly mean, my hate for Toby is greater.
Soo here are my favorite parts:
1) When the typing lady was reading back the comments in a monotone voice (Espically the part with the bathroom!!!!!! I loved it, she was butchering it soooo bad!!!!)
2) "And you were directly under her the entire time?"
"That's what she said."
3) Pam and the post-its!! That was adorable!!
4) "Were Jim's parents first cousins who were also bad at ping pong?'
5) Michael's Acronyms (Pattern. My friend PAT took a TURN.)
6) Trash? Smack? Same Thing?
Before I end this, I need to vent about something. Do these episodes of The Office, beginning about three weeks ago with the...the one before the camping one, seem to be about....nothing? Like ping pong? What about some drama?! I'm sorry but I belive this show is slowly, but surley morphing into Sinfeild (a show about nothing). I mean these past seasons were great, because you wanted to watch next week to see what would happen. I mean, please do not get me wrong, I do want to watch it, but I guess what I'm trying to say is, that there's really no story line going on. At least with Jim and Pam, or Dwight.

KKras on: The Deposition

Happy Monday, Dunderheads!

I am writing (a little delayed, I know) about the "Deposition" episode. I was very pleased with this episode. My favorite moments:

  1. Lawyer "Who are the twins?"
Michael "They're hanging off m'lady's chest."
  2. Nobody understood the "That's What She Said" joke at the meeting. That was good. They took it literally. (By the way, Mrs. Schrute, my "That's what she said count is up to 3 because in SB w/ PSEN he said "69, but gently, please." And I almost yelled to {girl sitting next to me with the initials EC} "that's what she said!!!" while beating her with my instrument.
  3. I actually hated Michael like no other when he knocked Toby's lunch tray off of the table. I hate Michael.
  4. I loved how Michael got off the lunch line and everybody in the cafeteria seemed to be reading a copy of his diary. That was wonderful.
  5. Moze playing ping-pong with Dwight in the warehouse afterhours at the very end. It's strange to see him off the beet farm.

Most of the office workers weren't included in this episode. Andy didn't say one word all episode! I wonder if things are going well with him and Angela. I love how we talk about these episodes as though they are real life events happening to real people.

Holiday Countdown:

  • 3 days until Thanksgiving. They should have an Office float in the parade. Or a Dwight balloon. And he's wearing a cape. That would be amazing.
  • 16 days until Hanukkah. I don't celebrate it, but I hope it is a nice day for those who do.
  • 33 days until the winter solstice! This is in bold because I just love the winter solstice! I love the winter solstice. I remember an episode of "Little Bear" when I was about five years old where Little Bear, his parents, his girlfriend Emily and all the other little critters celebrated the Winter Solstice by staying up until midnight and hanging cookies on trees. Please comment if you remember this, as well.
  • 35 days until Christmas! I've already prepared for this holiday season by getting all of my Christmas shopping done last night. No joke. I have everyone crossed off my list. I also bought and am listening to right now, my three Christmas songs for my iPod. I bought "Christmas/Sarajevo 12/24" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra; "O Holy Night" (I think it goes without saying that I bought the Josh Groban version.); and "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey. I also enjoy, but haven't bought "Last Christmas" by Wham!. Yes, the band is Wham! with an exclamation point.
  • 36 days until Kwanza and Boxing Day. Two awesome holidays on the same day? Crazy fun. Ooh! Kwanza + Boxing Day = Crazy Delicious! :)

Well, I think I've bored you enough with my incessant rambling about un-Office related material. Please, writers, I beg you to stop your strike. I miss my Office and it hasn't even been a week without it.

Ta ta for now

I CRACKED THE CODE!!!

Heyy iheartbigtuna guess what? I found out what the comment on your recent post says. It was actually in Portuguese. Don't ask how I found that out, but it says, when translated verbatim:

Oi, I found its blog for google is well interesting I liked this post. It would like to speak on the CresceNet. The CresceNet is a dialed supplier of InterNet that remunerates its users for the hardwired time. Accurately this that you read, is paying you to connect. The paid supplier 20 cents for the moment of connection dialed with local linking for more than 2100 cities of Brazil. The CresceNet has a connection accelerator, that leaves its faster connection up to 10 times. Who uses broad band can also profit, is enough to register in cadastre itself in the CresceNet and when it will be to sleep to connect for dialed, it is possible to pay the ADSL alone with the money of the dialed one. In the schedules of only minute the expense with telephone is minimum and the remuneration of the generous CresceNet. If you I to want to linkar Cresce.Net(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in its blog I would be been thankful, until more and success. If is possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll, I thank. Good bye friend.

I think he was trying to sell you something from some website or possibly switch to the CresceNet internet service provider. I'm not sure though, because this guy's Portuguese is just about as crappy as his English, from what I can see. But, then again, the translator doesn't pick up on phrases. Anyway, that was a little bizarre but funny at the same time.

See ya laytaaaaa.
Or, as our Portuguese friends may say,
Adeus, meu amigo. Eu escreveri outra vez logo. Feliz dia dos agradecimentos.
(Goodbye, my friend. I will write again soon. Happy Thanksgiving.)

iheartbigtuna has a request for Mrs. Shrute

Please make it so that no one can comment without being reviewed or whatever. Ravenclaw's Pensive blog has that and its good b/c I just got a comment in italian or french or something! It had links in it and they were to this news website so I think it's an ad, but how the hell do they comment on a blog???!!!

Anyway, thanks Mrs. Shrute.

iheartbigtuna talks about the Jan vs Corporate episode

I thought this episode wasn't as good as Michael surviving in the jungle for a few hours, but it was ok. I watched it a while ago so it's kinda hard to recall but I loved it when Michael:

1. made up sayings to try and remember what Jan told him to say
2. said "That's what she said" during the case - it was actually a really good one too!
3. asked to go to the bathroom to avoid questions

It was sad when Michael felt betrayed by Jan and corporate. It was sad that he chose corporate. It's so frustrating how Michael can be such an ass and then when something bad happens to him you still feel really bad for the jerk! I did like when Michael said, "You expect to be screwed over by your employer, but not your girlfriend."

I wanted to shoot Kelly when she kept trash talking Pam! Ugh!!! Can this be an "anti-Kelly" fanclub too????

I thought it was hysterical that Pam made Jim practice and set up her own makeshift table in the conference room! When Jim told Dwight he had to beat a client in ping-pong to win them over that was great! It was even better when...

Pam: "So are you ready? Should I call Daryl?"
Jim: "Yeah, I'm ready."
Dwight: "Wait! The client you need to beat is Daryl? He works here, dumbass!"

I also thought it was funny when Pam challenged Kelly to a match and they both sucked and Jim and Daryl just went upstairs to play in the conference room!

P.S. Thanks to KKras, I've just watched The Office Season One and its amazing! My favorite episode is now "The Alliance" I can't believe Jim and Pam got Dwight to sit in a box in the warehouse!!! That was hillarious!!

Thanks to KKras from iheartbigtuna

Thanks a million for letting me borrow the Office Season 1 DVD. I can't wait to spend my entire weekend watching it - no, seriously, I probably will.

Anyway, I'm phsyched (spelling?) for tonights episode - I really hope that its a good one b/c if its the last one before the writers stop striking and it sucks I'll be miserably pissed off!

KKras on: Survivorman

Dunderheads!

Well, for those of you lucky rich folk with the DVR, la di freakin' da. But as for me and the rest of us, we can only watch the episode once at the time of it's original air date unless we have a spare twenty minutes to watch it on the computer. So, I was only able to watch it once and was, for the second week in a row, disappointed. Not as much as last week, but still. It was decent. My fave points:
  1. Michael tearing his pants into about seven pieces, but then realizing that his legs were cold and then taping them back together.
  2. The tranquilizer gun in the toilet. Who thinks of this? I love them.
  3. Andy and his 'shrooms. :)
  4. Creed and his peach cobbler. Silly, silly man. :)

I was very disappointed in the way that Jim was acting. Thank goodness Phyllis brought him back to reality when she slipped up and called him Michael. Way to go, Phalis. Oops. I mean Phyllis. I've got penises on the brain~ reference to Women's Appreciation Day, Season 3.

So, it's rumored that next week's episode is the last before the hiatus due to the writers' strike(Wikipedia), but I've also heard that there's five more left (Mrs. Schrute and a certain lamb that plays badminton and owns a Chinese restaurant.) You know that wikipedia is a good reference tool because normal people have authority over the information used on the website. Definitely no bias there.

I have also herd rumors that 102 people were fired from the production staff of "The Office" in response to the writers' strike. I have no idea what one's job on production staff would entail, however, they must be pretty important.

42 Days till Christmas!

39 DAYS TILL THE WINTER SOLSTICE!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!

Mrs. Schrute- The Office Goes Green

Well iheartbigtuna, you are absolutely right. I re-watched The Office (as I always do, and the second time I usually pay much more attention), and it was actually quite funny!! Although Jim was kinda annoying, with the whole combining the birthday thing, but I'm glad Phyllis shook him up by calling him Michael.
I think I know the way to kill Toby. Feed him s'mores. Oh, and we kinda got the point, Michael wasn't invited to the Outdoor Adventure thing with Ryan. In my opinion, I would have much rather have gone with Michael than Toby.
So here were my favorite parts of the episode:
1) I thought it was hilarious when Dwight hit Michael in the head with a shoe.
2) Everyone wanting a different cake, or in Andy's case, a Fudgey (how do you spell that??) the Whale, Bagel Bites and Mushroom Tips.
3) Dwight keeping various weaponry around the office, including the ceiling and the toilet.
4) Michel "fashioning" his suit pants into a hat, then back into pants.
5) Dwight keeping an eye on Michael through his gun.
So, it actually was a good episode. I am a little upset though, that next week is the last episode because of the writer's strike. I hope we don't need to wait like 6 months to see a new episode.
Peace Out.

iheartbigtuna gives a giant 2 THUMBS UP to the Office's "green" episode

Wow, Mrs. Shrute, I'll have to disagree, I thought this episode wasn't just a little better than the last one, it was ten times better! It was hilarious, and witty and really great and it was much more like itself than that fluke episode last week that made no sense.

Here were my favorite parts (not necessarily in order from least to greatest)

1. Dwight hiding strategically placed weapons throughout the office! The butcher's knife in the filing cabinet, the samauri sword in the ceiling....its hilarious!

2.Michael going out into the wilderness like "Survivorman". There were many funny parts to that whole plot line, like when he ripped apart his pants, yelled out his deepest-darkest secrets because he thought no one was there (while Dwight and the cameras were really hanging out watching him), the pants tent, the pant leg hat, the telling of the time by the sun in the 2 3/4 position... and best of all:

Dwight: (Is looking through the scope of a sniper rifle when he notices the camera is on him) "Don't worry, I'm just using the scope and the safety is...(checks safety to find it's off and turns it on)...on."

3.Everyone wanting a different cake for their combined b-day party. Especially Creed with his special pie from Angela.

4.Toby's description of the office birthdays. "Michael always sings the falsedo line of Happy Birthday" and "Michael really likes birthday suprises, almost to the point where its cruel..."

5.Jim turning into Michael. At first I thought it was stupid, but it was actually pretty funny (like when Jim used Michaels office and they almost went into the conference room). I really liked the end with Michael and Jim talking. It was really sweet and you begin to wonder if Jim is really starting to accept the fact that he may still be at the Dunder-Mifflin Scranton Branch ten years from now. The "that's what she saids" were great, especially Jim's.

All in all it was an amazing episode and is really up there with some of my favorites....The Injury....The Fire....Conflict Resolution...well, no...I lied - nothing can beat Conflict Resolution!

KKras: Big News!!/License to Wed

Howdy y'all. (That was for you, Mrs. Schrute)

Two things:

  1. Over this past weekend, I rented "License to Wed" from Netflix. To be perfectly honest, the movie was not very good. If you've seen the "veritable movie suckfest" (Mrs. Schrute!!) titled "Because I Said So," you can compare it to that. It wasn't very good. It was very poorly written and at some points, a little unbelieveable (i.e. driving through the streets of Chicago blindfolded). However, it was totally and 100% amazing at the same time. This was obviously because of the wonderful and talented John Krasinski. He made the movie. Also, many of his Office cronies joined him in this movie, including Mindy Kaling (Kelly), Angela Kinsey (Angela), and Brian Baumgartner (Kevin). The four of them brought this movie from about a two to a ten (out of ten.) JKras, you can do no wrong in my eyes. Is it just me, or do these Office actors seem to travel in packs when they appear in movies? For example:
    - "The 40 Year Old Virgin" ~ Steve Carell, Mindy Kaling, Jenna Fischer (uncredited), Phyllis Smith (uncredited)
    - "Knocked Up" ~ Craig Robinson, B.J. Novak, Steve Carell
    - "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" (a parody of "Walk the Line") ~ Jenna Fischer, Ed Helms
    - "Evan Almighty"- Steve Carell, Ed Helms, Craig Robinson
  2. Rashida Jones returns in a new form. She's now in the Foo Fighters' new music video for their song, "Long Road to Ruin." Ugh.

I'm so sad. The writers' strike is in full swing and because of this, SNL with host Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson and musical guest Amy Winehouse is not going to be live this week. Man, that girl can't catch a break. Oh well. I guess I'll have to wait until next Saturday.

Adios, mis amigos.

Mrs. Shrute on iheartbigtuna's debate

Well, I'm really not sure of the signifigance of all of them being cats, the only one who really makes sense is Angela. Maybe Pam and Phyllis just felt like it. I don't remember the episode entirely.

Sunday, November 4, 2007

iheartbigtuna begins a debate

Q: What is the significance that all of the girls in the office (except Meredith who isn't even pictured) are cats in the Season 2 Halloween episode???

First, I have to reply with another question...was there another Halloween episode in season 3?
If so, who was everyone?

Secondly, I think that it is ironicly funny because they are all so different but they all make really good cats! Think about it! Angela is a cat lover and can be kinda "catlike" in her attitude (hissssss). Pam looked really cute as a cat and she is sort of a "kittenlike" character. And Phyllis makes a really good old, gentle cat. I think they didn't include Meredith in the "cat costume club" because she's either too boring or too hung-over to be "catlike", or "kittenlike" in any way.

Any thoughts???

Mrs. Shrute on Branch Wars

Hola All Officec Buffs!!
So, Branch Wars. I must say I was disappointed with this episode. It really stunk. It just wasn't funny. The only part I will say was slightly hilarous was Dwight in the back of the car, and the bomb ingredients in the trunk of the car.
This episode just proves why I, and all of us here at Tripple B and a G, hate Karen. I mean the way she treated Jim! I would want to burn Utica to the ground! She really just need to go away. But I do suppose every show needs somone evil, and she is trully that person.
I felt very bad for Andy in this episode. The Finer Things Club should have let him in. Andy is probally he preppiest guy on TV, and you can't get any finer than that.
Thank the heavens that Stanley stayed. Michael is absoutley right in saying that you cannot take away the funny black guy from the office. I cannot imagine The Office without Stanley at all. I mean what would Pretzel Day be without Stanley?
I honestly hope the episode this week is better. That was just...not good.

OOH! But now that I remembered it, the mustaches were amazing!! Espically Dwight's all curled and what not!!

KKras on: Branch Wars

Dundaheads!!!
How are y'all? I have to say that I was not impressed with this week's episode. There were a few good points, but it was definitely the worst this season.
Here's what I liked:
  1. Good call, iheartbigtuna, my favorite line so far has got to be:
Jim: "Have you had this in the back of the car the whole time we've been driving?"
    Michael: "Yup."
  2. The mustaches.
  3. "The Finer Things Club." That was cool. I love how they dress up everytime.
  4. Phyllis popping popcorn in the vending machine room because the microwave in the kitchen smelled like popcorn!

That's it. I really didn't like anything else all that much. I hope next week is better.

Oh, by the way, iheartbigtuna, Phyllis was also a cat and Stanley wasn't anything. All the girls were cats. Except Meredith. I don't think that she was even mentioned at all in that episode.

iheartbigtuna is relieved that Stanley stayed

Yay! Stanley stayed! But it wasn't that great an episode! C'mon writers, we need a good one next time - oh, right, sry, forgot ur all on strike!!

Anyway, as I was saying, it wasn't that great of an episode. I know you'll all probably kill me but I'm not hating Karen yet, I kinda feel bad for her, but mostly for Jim, that they had to meet again so soon after their breakup.

But sadly, I can't remember any truly funny parts, everything was just too dramatic and stupid. The only thing that was slightly funny was the, oh, darn it what was the name of that elite club??? Wow, this is sad, I really can't remember the name, I just watched it like an hour ago.... oh, well Toby, Oscar, and Pam are awesome and so is their club!

Michael, Dwight and Jim driving to Karen's branch to silly -string/burn the place was just so far-fetched and stupid and when Dwight threw Jim's cell out of the car I wanted to scream. Where were they going with that whole "feel bad for Dwight thing" if they were just gonna make him seem insane in the next episode??? The fact that he wanted to blow chalk in people's eyes was also slightly comical, but mostly odd.

I just thought this episode was soooooooo irrelevant to everything??? I mean, all of a sudden Stanley is leaving, Michael and Dwight are becoming criminals, and Andy wants to get into an elite book club. They didn't even mention or show Angela once!! Or Creed!!!

....I can't talk about this episode anymore, it frustrates me. Instead, I'd like you all to help me remember who everyone was for Halloween in the season 2 Halloween episode:

Michael - 2 headed guy
Dwight - the Sith Lord
Jim - 3-hole punch
Pam- cat
Angela - cat (is it significant that both she and Pam have the same costume???)
Kevin - Mr. Incredible
Toby - hobo
Creed - vampire/Dracula
Oscar - a woman
Phillis - ???
Stanley - ??? (did he even dress up at all)

Karen Returns....and Mrs. Schrute is scared.

Tonight, Karen returns, the one we all loathe. And she's going to try and lure Stanley away from Scranton!! I'm sorry, but that just can't happen!! Stanley and Scranton go together like PB and J!! Peanut Butter and Jelly AND Pam Beasley and Jim!! NOOO!!! STANLEY!!!! I <3 U AND YOUR CROSSWORD PUZZLES!!!!
